Naturopathic Physician
Dr Jemison has experience treating a variety of people and conditions, from professional athletes to our elderly population, helping each person achieve their health goals. You will recognize his friendly and client focused demeanor that is appreciated by everyone he works with.
Earning his undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver and his naturopathic medical degree from Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe AZ (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine), Dr Jemison has been in practice for 14 years. Additionally, he spent time in the classroom educating future health care providers both at Metropolitan State University of Denver and the Denver College of Nursing, teaching Clinical Pathophysiology, Complementary and Alternative Therapeutics, and Physiology of Aging just to name a few. Education is a large part of what he does because “education and information empower people to make informed health promoting decisions.”
He brings his clinical expertise in the areas of immunology, hormone dysfunctions including adrenal, thyroid, and optimizing sex hormones, men’s health, blood sugar control, gastrointestinal health, successful aging, cognitive support and dementia care. Dr Jemison will work to find the most effective strategies for each individual. While passionate about supporting the body’s own healing potential with safe, nontoxic medicine; he recognizes the importance of an integrated medical approach to best serve others’ specific health and wellness needs.
Dr Jemison grew up in Colorado but considers Arizona home. He enjoys working on cars and exercising his creative side with art and various projects. He and his wife are the proud parents of three young adult children and a 10-year-old Boston Terrier named Coco.
