Dr. Judy Gianni’s shiitake mushroom detox soup is a traditional cleanser and immune booster. It’s the perfect warm meal for your winter cleanse!
- 5 shiitake mushrooms fresh or dried
- 1 small onion thinly sliced
- 1.5 cups organic veggie or chicken broth
- 1″ cube of ginger
- 5 cloves of garlic thinly sliced
- 1 small carrot cut into matchsticks
- 1/2 cup bok choy
- 1 cup bamboo shoots
- 1/2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
- Tamari to taste
Simply combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and simmer on medium heat until veggies are tender.
